Quotex Login and Trading in India: What You Need to Know
This page explains how the Quotex login works, what the demo account offers, and how deposits and trading function for users in India. It also covers what is publicly known about Quotex's regulatory standing so you can make an informed decision.
Figures checked 13.10.2026How Quotex Login and Account Access Work
Quotex offers a web-based platform as well as Android and iOS apps. To start, you create an account on the Quotex platform using an email address and password. The same credentials are used for the quotex login on the web platform and the mobile apps.
Once logged in, you can access the trading interface, manage your balance, and switch between a live account and a demo account. Quotex does not publish a separate login process for Indian users; the sign-in flow is the same across regions.
For users in India, the practical steps are: download the app or open the website, enter your registered email and password, and complete any verification step the platform requests. Quotex does not list a minimum deposit for opening an account, but the minimum trade amount is $1.
If you forget your password, the platform provides a standard password reset option from the login screen. Always use a strong, unique password and avoid saving it on shared devices.
Quotex Demo Account and Demo Trading
Quotex provides a demo account that lets you practise trading without depositing real money. The demo account is free and is accessed through the same quotex login. You can switch between demo and live modes from inside the platform.
Demo trading on Quotex uses virtual funds, so you can test strategies, learn how fixed-time contracts work, and understand the payout structure before risking any capital. The platform does not publish a limit on how long the demo account remains available.
For Indian users, the demo account is useful because it lets you explore the platform's interface, charting tools, and trade execution speed without using UPI, bank transfer, or USDT to fund an account first.
A common pattern is to start with quotex demo trading, then move to a live account only after you are comfortable with the mechanics. Remember that demo results do not predict live trading outcomes.
Deposits and Withdrawals for Indian Users
Quotex does not publish a full list of deposit methods specific to India. However, the payment routes commonly used by Indian traders on similar platforms include UPI, bank transfer, cards, and USDT.
- UPI is how most deposits are made in India, usually through a payment partner rather than the platform itself.
- Bank transfer via IMPS or NEFT works from any Indian bank.
- Visa and Mastercard are accepted, subject to your bank's international transaction limit.
- USDT, usually on TRC-20, is the route traders fall back on when a card is declined.
Quotex lists a minimum deposit of $10 and a minimum trade of $1. The maximum payout percentage shown on the platform is 98%. Withdrawal times and fees are not published in the reference data we hold.
Because deposits may be processed through third-party payment partners, the name on your bank statement may differ from "Quotex". Keep records of every transaction for your own reference.
Quotex Trading Platform and Mobile App
Quotex operates its own proprietary platform, available on web, Android, and iOS. The quotex trading app download is available through the official website or app stores, depending on your region. The app offers the same core functions as the web version.
Trading on Quotex is based on fixed-time contracts. You choose an asset, set an expiry time, and decide the direction you expect the price to move. The platform shows the potential payout before you place the trade.
Quotex advertises a maximum payout of 98%, which is higher than some competitors in the same category. The minimum trade size is $1, and the minimum deposit is $10.
For Indian users, the app's usability matters because many traders access the market from mobile devices. The platform includes charting tools, asset lists, and a history of your trades. Quotex does not publish a dedicated quotex trading course, but the demo account serves as a practical learning environment.
Regulatory Standing and What It Means in India
The Reserve Bank of India authorises persons dealing in foreign exchange and the electronic trading platforms they may use, under FEMA. The RBI does not license offshore forex platforms and fixed-time contracts.
Quotex has no licence on record in any register we read. We also hold no regulator warnings on record for Quotex specifically. That does not mean the platform is authorised in India; it means we found no licence and no warning in the registers we checked.
In November 2025, the RBI referred to its own Alert List of entities not authorised to deal in foreign exchange under FEMA or to operate an electronic trading platform. The list contained 95 entities as of 19.11.2025, and the RBI states the list is not exhaustive. A resident trading outside permitted purposes or on an unauthorised platform is liable under FEMA.
For comparison, other brokers in this category show different profiles. Deriv holds licences from MFSA, Labuan FSA, and VFSC. Pocket Option holds a licence from MISA (Mwali) but has warnings from the FCA, CONSOB, and CFTC. IQ Option holds a CySEC licence. Olymp Trade holds a VFSC licence and is a Financial Commission member. Binomo is an IFC (FinaCom) Category A member. Expert Option is a Financial Commission member. Exnova has no licence on record and has withdrawal complaints and a no-regulator flag. BinaryCent has no licence on record and appears on the VFSC notice of fraud, CFTC red list, AMF blacklist, and FMA NZ warning.
If you trade on Quotex from India, you are responsible for understanding whether your activity falls within FEMA's permitted purposes. The RBI's Alert List is not exhaustive, so absence from the list is not an endorsement.
